It’s funny how bad things affect us as Christians as well.. Who we are in JESUS gives us the strength to define the pain differently! We see those things as just another hurdle to scale over!

Get out there

It was the ending of summer of 2010, I felt I should just finally get out there and do it! Convince someone who is stupid or bold enough to join me and start a music band. I had no musical skills other than the inspirations I feel every now and then. I walked into the hall, where the keyboardist and a worship leader of the teenage church was practicing for Sunday service, and I said, "hey would you sing a worship song while I rapped to it!" She said  yes! Me and my 17 year old self was happy, she told me about her cousin who could rap, that’s how we had started a music band…

So I turned to consider wisdom and madness and folly. For what can the man do who comes after the king? Only what has already been done. - Ecclesiastes 2:12

I want to see JESUS Now!!

I was standing in Walmart and it was like a trance or a vision…People were told to line up and do things in order, there were people with guns commanding civilians to be orderly! JESUS had come and we were gone… And people left behind had to figure life out in distress and disarray..

Are you done with your ways?!

Don’t drink that you don’t need it, “but I’m feeling sleepy 😑”, “then get a gum”, “Coffee feels so good right now, I’m having one anyways, I need a drink by the way”… ***Later that night*** “why can’t I sleep” “I told you not to have coffee, but you did, do drink some milk it will cool you off and you will sleep” “Thank you GOD you’re the best, you always have my back” “And I always will”….

There is a lesson to learn in the midst of the Blessings….

So I was great, and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem: also my wisdom remained with me.

Let your heart be joyful and be glad in this season! But let your heart remember how it all comes to existence, how GOD is making everything work for your good!

Don’t forget GOD is the reason for your blessings, your waking up, food on your table, your job, health, peace, Family you have and many more…

It’s  easy to remember GOD for help in bad times and not acknowledge HIM for HIS handy works during the good times…. You know the times when things go AWOL , and you cry and stick to GOD through it all for a breakthrough, it’s with the same passion we should have and hold tight to GOD during the good times!

As a Christian, it's important you get the #Vision that life is not about all the fancy things of life, but it's just about JESUS and doing all the things HE has called you to do!

Poverty, fame, wealth, the pleasure of the opposite sex and many more, are not good enough reasons to keep you going in life.

It is easy for someone to always attain the goal that he/she has set, which explains the reason why one works hard, then, all of a sudden emptiness and loneliness sets in. It's also easy for you to keep on chasing what you want to be in the #Future and still never be #Grateful for what you have, or never be satisfied with what you have when you all your dreams come true.

When you make GOD the reason for your existence and why you work hard, you enjoy the process of life. When there is little, or when you're single or just waiting for a breakthrough, there will be joy in your heart. If you keep your heart longing for something in the future, you won't enjoy the beauty of the present! The beauty of waiting is awesome when you do it with GOD. Look at all the awesome things that happened to Ruth on her road to being married, "Sweet, Bitter and Sweet" story, or how Abraham waited for his son Isaac. Impatience tends to make you worship your heart's desire, and think that when you have it, your life will be complete or perfect.

You know that moment when you just want something so much that nothing else matters! Over time, you begin to consider it all and ask yourself whether it was worth it. For example, a relationship you fought for so hard refusing to listen to the counsel of others and insisted on being with someone who no one in your life agreed with. Questions fly through your mind as you look at all the material things you have gathered.... was it worth buying this and that? Working so hard, borrowing money, and spending all my savings on this and that? What can I make of all my achievements?

Everyone seems to find their own form of good in life. It depends on what you settle for at the end of the day, as you find your form of righteousness surviving this life. You might have heard quite a number of things, different perspective, people talk from on how to handle life. Some live with theories, like “be good and good things will happen to you”, and it works out for some and it fails many at the end of the day. Some believe if you work hard and stay healthy, you will get the best of life, especially if you are ambitious. This also has failed many, who end up as failures and sick with diseases like cancer and AIDS.

For GOD sees everything we do, at the end of the day, the real question is; what matters, the will of GOD, or the desire of man?

Don't chase your ambitions neglecting GOD'S will for your life…. there is a plan for your life that's uniquely designed by GOD to make you a better person, where everything will fit in, at the end of the day!

The most painful thing is looking at your life, and finding out that everything is just vanity upon vanity; finding out you never lived for GOD.
